Intro to Yoga

Yoga has two lineages from India. One was for a physcially strong person that needed to still the mind. The other was for a physcially weak person that wanted to gain muscular strength and already had the strong mind aimed at practice. Iyengar and Yin yoga come from being more still as opposed to speedy flows, jumps and advanced flexibility. All styles lead to listening to your breath and mind. Prepare yourself for a group class by taking a few lessons with Kim and then feel confident going to your local studio or teacher or stay with Kim and take more lessons.
